Marking the two-week countdown for the Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta, which will be on Sunday, January 31st at 200 Peachtree, Wish Lanterns were released over Piedmont Park. The lanterns were released by family and friends of a couple that just tied the knot. A beautiful way to mark their special day and share the beauty of their bonding as far as the eye can see.
Donna Jakulski, one of the most excellent bridal show producers in Atlanta explained that the lanterns were traditionally used to mark various celebrations and occasions in Asia. She also went onto say “We’re excited to bring Wish Lanterns to Atlanta to introduce them to brides, grooms, families and friends planning weddings.”
Bride, Monica Arnold was selected by the Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta to feature the lanterns at her wedding and was provided with almost 100 lanterns that her guests could release. She and groom Jonathan Croom exchanged vows at the Graystone event facility in Piedmont Park on Sunday. They were nominated by Perfect Pedals, their floral designer, which are a featured amongst the Atlanta’s Best Wedding Professionals for the Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta for 2011.
The Wish Lanterns are an amazing way for family and friends to take part in the wedding ceremony and attach their own wishes for a long and happy life of the new couple. It’s a beautiful tradition that is quickly gaining popularity for weddings, birthdays, and many other celebrations.
